Boxes I feel should be of captivating interest inside as well as the design outside – using exotic woods and unique metal work, all the boxes I produce have to serve a purpose with the intention of containing ‘intrigue and surprises’.

To describe a few. Yes, jewellery boxes but with many secrete hidden compartments and concealed musical box sounds. Personalised wooden anniversary whisky tantalus. A rolling ball gravity run, the 70 balls taking 23 minutes to roll through. Games and puzzle boxes. Money boxes with integral chime gongs set off by the falling coins. Chinese and Japanese design style boxes with secret locks and surprises. Boxes within boxes, following the Russian Doll format, each one with a different story to tell.
